OLD MAN GLOOM, STORE UPDATES, ETC

Old Man Gloom are going to be touring the East Coast in May. Dates are listed below. More info to follow... RESUME THE GLOOM....

The SIGE Records webstore has been replenished with a number items that have recently sold out or been out of stock for some time: Mamiffer & Locrian 2xLP/CD, Merzbow/Mamiffer/House of Low Culture "Lou Lou.." 2xLP/CD, v/a Utech Records Fest 2xCD, etc. The ISIS webstore has also recently added the new ISIS "Live VI" 2xLP and a bunch of older CD titles. Additionally, the Feral Pig store will have some new titles later in the week.

Today marks the "official" release date of the Split Cranium debut album on CD and LP formats, as well as the Mamiffer & Locrian "Bless Them that Curse You" 2xLP. That means you can find them in actual record shops as of now.

Lastly, friend and current collaborator Daniel Menche has a new interview up on ATTN: magazine in which he discusses the upcoming Mamiffer/Menche collaboration and a bunch of other good stuff. You can read that here.

Thank you.

What do you personally think about new Caxide, Harris and Gallagher band? 3 of ISIS members are together again.

I really liked SPLIT CRANIUM. Real experimental and innovative. If it's not a problem, can you post somewhere lyrics of all the SPLIT CRANIUM tracks? I'm very interested in understanding what each song is about.

Hello, Aaron,
If you would decide to make a music video for SPLIT CRANIUM what track could it be? "Sceptres To Rust"? Maybe "Yellow Mountain"? Maybe even four-minutes long "Blossoms To Boil"? Or none of those and you could choose different track for a video?

To answer a few questions and respond to a few remarks...

- Thanks to those of you that are coming out to the Old Man Gloom shows. It is greatly appreciated! Sorry to those of you that don't live near where we'll be playing. I have no idea if we'll do more shows beyond these, but we'll do our best to make it happen. We'd also like to get some of the old albums and shirts back in print, but that will probably be a slow process. Magic Bullet is re-pressing "Seminar II" on 2xLP for the tour though.

- I am looking forward to hearing the Caxide/Harris/Meyer project. I haven't heard anything yet, so I have no idea what to expect.

- As far as a video for Split Cranium goes, I'd love for that to happen, but there are no plans currently. A shorter song would probably be easiest, but I'd be happy with a video for just about any song from the album.

- Yes, there is a new Nihill album coming - probably early fall on Hydra Head. I can't reveal the title yet, so I just referred to it as "III" for now.

Aaron, if it's not a problem, could you, please, share what are your personal plans for the near future? You have already told that in the near future new JODIS full-length could be expected. But probably there're a lot more projects in your mastermind ))) Maybe something absolutely unexpected like SPLIT CRANIUM or maybe GREYMACHINE, etc...

Just to add one more question to the pile, any more info you can divulge about the new Jodis? i.e. Title, release date, etc.
