Looking good man. I'm eager to hear the new Torche lp. Saw them here in Toronto on the last Jesu tour. Nice guys, great band.
Aaron, I sent you a copy of my book about a week ago, so it should show up soon. Hopefully you'll find something inspirational and/or useful inside. It is really cool to get positive feedback from a guy like Seldon. Makes the arduous task of writing seem worth it in the end.
This is a question completely unrelated, sorry - but you guys are loud as hell live, and I'm assuming your rehearsals are the same; what do you (and/or the rest of the band, for that matter) use for ear protection, or do you? I've always wondered, since you essentially play at incredible volumes every night of a tour...
Also, I noticed that you have switched guitar heads from time to time - is it that you like the variety in tone that different heads give you, or is that you have never been entirely happy with the heads you've tried?
Hello Aaron, just wanted to say that I picked up the Torche record yesterday (Tues) and was really, really happy w/ the lay out. It's records like this that make me hold on to the idea that regardless of how popular digital downloading gets it will never be the same experience as getting a record/cd and diving into the art work as much as the music itself. Just wanted to commend you on a job well done. - roy
Heh, this shit is so weird

Looks incredible Aaron. You've got some really great textures going on in there.
ReplyDeleteThose illustrations are great - love your work!
